Teen Jazz Project
Talented young musicians, encouraging mentors and smokin' hot jazz music...
The Teen Jazz Project is going to set the Triple Cities on fire!

Welcome to the Teen Jazz Project! This is a community-based jazz program devoted to promoting live jazz music in the Triple Cities area. We believe that music is an essential part of any thriving community. To this end we are introducing an opportunity for up and coming teen musicians in our community to learn from experienced musicians and music educators.  The directors and mentors involved in this project hope to pass along a love for jazz music to the next generation.

Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where area teen musicians can learn to play, improvise and perform the unique art form that is jazz.

Any teen instrumentalist* or vocalist ages 13 - 19 is welcome to audition. The next audition date is September 17, 2014 in the evening. (Please click on the Contact Us tab for more information and for an electronic application form.)

*Piano, Trumpet, Saxophone, Trombone, Drum Set, Bass, Guitar, Vibes
